Created, updated and refined by artists in production just like you; with the power to get it done, sometimes when nothing else can.

ShaderFlow: Easy Node-Based Shading
The shading system of any package is the core with which you define your objects' surfaces.  It can either make your job easier & more enjoyable, or it can make your job more difficult.  messiah:studio's node-based shading system, ShaderFlow, is the best combination of ease of use & power that you'll find in any shading system.  And it is a complete joy to use.  Feel free to be creative and experiment without worry:

Setting basic surface properties is similar to that of any shading system...

Adding interest is as easy as a click away.   Texture maps, noise, or even more exotic shaders can be added instantly...

Creating an organic feel to surfaces can be achieved by controlling shaders with noise nodes.  messiah comes with a number of preset noise shader nodes ready for use...

messiah's field weighting tools that are normally used for setup & animation can also be used  with the shaderflow via a weightspot node.  With this you can isolate specific areas of your model for shading.  And since the spots are actually composed of weight tools, the spots can also be animated...

Once defined, weights can be used to control any parameter, even bump & displacement...

One of the more powerful features of the ShaderFlow is how easily the nodes can be reused and reconnected...

... and this flexibility frees you to be more creative...

Creativity Unleashed!
Once you've gotten the basics down, you'll be ready to move on to our more advanced nodes like TextureDeform in almost no time.  Before you know it, you'll find yourself flying with the ShaderFlow like a seasoned pro.

And since the renderer is fully integrated into the animation core, it was built for character animation.  Since nearly every floating point parameter can be animated, you will immediately begin to see your creativity unleashed.
