Full Install - NOT A DEMO.  REQUIRES HARDWARE DONGLE
   m:studio Workstation 2.5c
Important:  This version does not contain the content or docs folder. After installing, copy those folders over to the new install folder.

1) Click here to download (18mb), then run it. We suggest doing a "Typical" install.  In order to keep the download small, it does not include the content or documentation.  Please copy those from your current install.

2)  If you already have the HASP dongle driver installed on your system, you can exit out of the HASP installer that comes up after the messiah install.

3) For LightWave users:  If you have not already done so when we released the LightWave patch in August 2006, follow these directions to use messiah with LightWave 8 and higher:

  1. Start LightWave, then on the Utilities tab click on Edit Plugins and delete the messiah entries.  They will be in the Displacement, Motion, Layout Command, and Scene Master sections.
  2. Click on Master Plugins and if messiah is there, remove it.  Now quit LightWave.
  3. Rename, delete, or move your lwmasters8.cfg and/or lwmasters9.cfg files.
  4. Start LightWave and go to the Utilities tab.
  5. Use Add Plugins to add the messiahLW.p plug-in (it's in the root of your messiah folder-- don't move it).
  6. Click on Masters Plugins and from the drop down menu select messiah_master.
  7. Quit LightWave and restart so the lwmasters file will be written out properly with the messiah_master info.

This will let messiah's Linked Scenes load properly in LightWave.  You shouldn't have to go through this procedure again with future updates.

Important Notes for 2.5c:
a)
Do not install over your previous version.
The default install of 2.5c will create a new folder (messiahstudioWS2.5c) in Program Files\pmG.
b) 3D Studio Max users:  When you get to the ReadMe (after the "accept license") make sure you scroll down to see some important info!
c) Access the messiah documentation from the File context menu (right-click on the File tab).
d) Move your content and documentation folders from your last version to the 2.5c version folder.
e) The ReadMe in your pmG folder contains the revision notes for this version.
